Summertime Home-Garden & Craftsmen Fest
Salem County Fairgrounds, Woodstown, New Jersey - (June 29-30, 2013) From doors, windows, ceilings and floors to landscaping displays, kitchenware, solar panels and more; whether you want to fix it, build it, or renovate, the Summertime Home-Garden & Craftsmen Fest has it all. This two-day event will be held on Saturday and Sunday, June 29-30, 2013 from 10am to 5pm at the Salem County Fairgrounds, located in the rolling farm land of Woodstown New Jersey. The home show will offered area residents the chance to shop for anything having to do with homes, gardens, landscaping, travel, investments, security, new trucks, fencing and lawn equipment.
The Summertime Fest will also feature artists and craftsmen and will have a food court, live music, picnic style dining, free craft making, kids crafts, dog parade, flowers and plant sale, give-a-ways and free shopping bags. Sunday's events include the Little Miss & Mister Summertime Pageant for girls & boys ages 4-7 years old.
The Summertime Home-Garden & Craftsmen Fest is open to the general public and admission is FREE. Parking is only $3.00 a carload. Consumers are ask to bring a pet food donation for the animal shelters in need of supplies. Each year in September on the last Saturday of the month, downtown historic Woodstown NJ comes alive as scarecrows by the dozens keep watch along the main street in anticipation for the Annual Woodstown Fall Festival. Giant Pumpkin Carve
September 29th at the Salem County Fairgrounds
The Giant Pumpkin Carve will be held on Saturday, September 29th at the Salem County Fairgrounds from 5pm-9pm after the Woodstown Fall Festival. The Giant Pumpkin Carve is an annual Salem County event that has taken place since 1996 that offers a fun way to welcome the fall season and also is a unique way of contributing to a very important cause. The Giant Pumpkin Carve is an event where local artists come together with high school and amateur artists to carve giant pumpkins and share their creative art with the families and individuals within Salem County and its surrounding communities. The fall event offers a pumpkin light show, free hayrides, face painting food, music and a lot of family fun.
