Each year in September on the last Saturday of the month, downtown historic Woodstown NJ comes alive as scarecrows by the dozens keep watch along the main street in anticipation for the Annual Woodstown Fall Festival.
Featuring crafters, wineries, a chili-cookoff, a 5k run, food vendors and a kids zone. Bring the entire family and come out this year to celebrate Woodstown's official welcoming of Harvest Season!
Giant Pumpkin Carve
September 29th at the Salem County Fairgrounds
The Giant Pumpkin Carve will be held on Saturday, September 29th at the Salem County Fairgrounds from 5pm-9pm after the Woodstown Fall Festival.
The Giant Pumpkin Carve is an annual Salem County event that has taken place since 1996 that offers a fun way to welcome the fall season and also is a unique way of contributing to a very important cause. The Giant Pumpkin Carve is an event where local artists come together with high school and amateur artists to carve giant pumpkins and share their creative art with the families and individuals within Salem County and its surrounding communities.
The fall event offers a pumpkin light show, free hayrides, face painting food, music and a lot of family fun. It celebrates the agricultural and artistic heritage of Salem County, while raising money for Meals on Wheels of Salem County.
