Websketching's Sam Serio interviews Francis Rapa, Regional Manager of the Delaware Bay Watershed, a part of the New Jersey Conservation Foundation.

It occurred to New Jersey Conservation Foundation some time ago that in order to preserve land and preserve agriculture, you really need to keep in viable, including the economic viability of agriculture," said Rapa. "So we started working in this region, in particular, in Salem, Gloucester and Cumberland counties, in trying to find ways to work with the farming community to help enhance their economic viability, help make farming more profitable and thereby keep farmers on the land and keep the land in farming."
Agritourism ranges from traditional farm stands to special agricultural enterainment destinations, such as corn mazes. Please visit www.SalemCountyAgritourism.com for more information about agritourism in Salem County.
